The Deacon Brandon Reeves is a native Georgia guitarist and singer-songwriter.
His interest in music began at an early age, but was given a boost
at age 11 when he began guitar lessons with Berklee College of Music
graduate Ted Tuck. The Deacon studied with Tuck for seven years, and
further pursued his musical education with a Bachelor of Music degree
in Jazz Studies from Georgia State University.
Having played with many bands ranging from heavy metal to folk rock,
blues, contemporary Christian and jazz, he has most recently decided
to concentrate his efforts on writing and performing original material
on the resonator guitar. Most recently, the Deacon has been performing
in the Atlanta/Athens area in venues such as Smith's Olde Bar, the
If Coffeehouse, the Flicker Theatre & Bar, the Melting Point,
and Eddie's Attic, to name a few.
Now Reeves has released his new album, One Of These Days,
on Lost Cat Records. It features his unique vocal and instrumental
gifts and can be purchased on Apple iTunes.
