Independent rock, folk, singer songwriter & Americana music
Welcome to Lost Cat Records, a unique digital-only record label featuring great music from an eclectic array of talented independent bands and musicians from around the world working in a variety of genres, including rock, folk, singer songwriter and Americana music.
Lost Cat Records was founded in 2000 to showcase music made by talented bands and musicians who, for one reason or another, had chosen to work outside of the mainstream music industry. Taking advantage of the emerging digital download system, Lost Cat is now establishing a growing reputation as a forerunner in the digital music revolution that's sweeping the world.
Not sure where to begin? Try the Lost Cat Picks sampler series, or any of the Best of the Great American Music Hour samplers which feature artists played on The Great American Music Hour Podcast, formerly hosted weekly by Lost Cat president and founder Jerry Jodice. Lost Cat artists are available on Apple iTunes as well as the other major digital services including Napster, Rhapsody, MSN Music, and many more.
